6 global players and implications for the telecoms industry

Introduction

This 258-page PowerPoint style PDF (and accompanying Excel data pack) report examines the relative performance of global CSPs in transforming from Telco 1.0 to Telco 2.0.

The first tranche of analysis benchmarks Telefonica, VodafoneAT&T, Verizon, SingTel, and Ooredoo (formerly QTel).

The benchmark report analyses five core ‘domains’ of transformation covering both external environment and relationships and internal structures and performance.  Detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis is translated into CSP performance scores for Marketplace, Service Offerings, Value Network (internal organisation and external partnerships), Technology, and Finance.

The report contains Telecom industry implications and recommendations and summaries for each CSP covered. The report is supported with an Excel data pack with raw benchmarking data, scoring methodology, and output tables and charts.
